2,000 days to achieve a sustainable future
The window to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals is rapidly closing. With just 2,000 days until the 2030 deadline, it’s clear that every city must intensify efforts to drive sustainable urban development, regardless of their global ranking. For the first time in the Sustainable Cities series, we are introducing Progress as a fourth pillar to assess and report on the extent to which cities are advancing their sustainability efforts.

Progress
The Progress pillar uses key indicators from the Planet, People, and Profit pillars over 10 years.
